Art Gallery with Gilded Leafing

by Lorraine, February 17, 2021

Hi everyone and thank you for stopping by. I have another take on the Art Gallery 2 step stamp set for you today. Gilded Leafing is only available in the Jan-June mini catalogue at this stage, but I hope it is here to stay, it is so beautiful and adds a stunning element to your project.

For this card I used Basic White thick cardstock for the base. I stamped the flower stem in Granny Apple Green, then the first step of the 2 step flower in Bermuda Bay. For the second step of the flower I stamped with versamark and covered that part with the heat and stick powder and used the heat tool to set it.

Then I took the Gilded Leafing and pressed it down to the heat and stick, making sure all of the sticky parts were covered. When you stick down the Gilded Leafing it will not stick to the rest of the flower so you can either rub off the excess with your finger or use a stiff paint brush.

I used Bermuda Bay ink for the sentiment and a finger dauber to ink around the edges, then adhered that to the Bermuda Bay panel and onto the card base.

***TIP***

If you want the main colour of the flower to be lighter simply stamp off once on a piece of scrap paper
