Hey Chick

by Lorraine, March 19, 2021

Hi everyone, thanks for popping in today. Creating this card was right up my alley, as I live in the country. I had so much fun making this, when this set was released it was the first thing that popped into my head, then I had to wait for it to arrive (it was an agonising wait). This card is very different for me and took me completely out of my comfort zone, but I loved it so much I will do more with creating backgrounds.

For this card I used Early Espresso for the base, I used Basic White for my background and then Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede and Balmy Blue Classic Ink Pads to create the background. I stamped a Window Sheet with All Wired Up background stamp using Staz On ink, I then cut the wood frame out of In Good Taste DSP using Stitched Rectangles Dies. I cut and coloured the chickens and the chicken house and sign, placed them where I wanted them and the stuck down the frame to the window sheet and then used Foam Adhesive Strips to stick that down over the chickens.
