Queen Anne's Lace 2 Step Stamp

by Lorraine, March 05, 2021

Hi everyone, for a while now I have looked past this stamp set for 1 reason, I have a problem if things do not line up 😅 Well, after using a few 2 step stamp sets I am happy to say I am over that, I love the way they look and this one is no exception. It is so simple yet elegant an the colour combinations are endless. Because of the detail in this set it is better to use the Stampin' write markers, as you colour in the stamp they do dry out but you just cast some of your warm breath over the stamp and it comes back to life for you to stamp, so don't feel that you need to be in a hurry to colour in your stamp.

These are the steps I took to make this card:
  • I used Basic White thick cardstock as a base and embossed the front left side of the card with Meadow Moments embossing folder.
  • Using the Stamparatus I positioned the step 1 (buds and stem) onto 1 side of the plate to line up with my cardstock. I coloured this  in using the Stampin' write markers, Granny Apple Green for the stem and Pacific Point for the buds, breathed on it and stamped onto my card. Leaving the card in place line up step 2 onto the other side of the plate and colour that in with Balmy Blue then stamp over the other image.
  • I stamped the sentiment from Prized Peony and inked the edges with Balmy Blue and adhered that down with Stampin' dimensionals to the right of the embossed section.
