Hello everyone and thank you for popping in. Today I have made a Slimline Easel Card. I got the original idea from Emma Goddard, a fellow demonstrator. I have never made a slimline card before and I really enjoyed it. You will love it too it is great for those type of stamps you want to stamp multiples of as you get so much more space to work with.
The supplies I have used for this card are listed below, I am happy to share some instructions with you.
INSTRUCTIONS
·
Cut
Highland Heather to 21cm x 21cm and score at 10.5cm and 18cm
·
Cut a
strip of Highland Heather to 20cm x 3cm
·
Cut
Basic White to (2) 9.5cm x 20cm (1 for inside & 1 for the front)
·
Stamp
2 of the Hydrangea Flowers in memento onto Basic White scrap piece. Using the 2
step stamp colour the flower with Highland Heather and Granny Apple Green. Cut
them out with the co-ordinating dies.
·
On 1
of your Basic White panels stamp the Hydrangea Flower 3 times across the front
on different angles (stay away from the top by about 2cm) does not matter if
the cross over at the bottom.
·
Colour
them as in the previous step only this time stamp off the ink once onto scrap
before stamping.
·
Lay
your cut out flowers over the top where you want them and stick down by the
flower head with Stampin’ dimensionals and cut off any overhanging stem.
·
Stamp
onto the 2 bottom corners of the other Basic White panel and stick down inside
the card.
·
Stamp
a sentiment onto Highland Heather scrap piece and cut out with the label die
from Hydrangea dies and stick that to the bottom of the Basic White panel
inside the card (centered)
