Tranquil Thoughts Stamp Set

Tranquil Thoughts is a beautiful stamp set that has some lovely thoughtful sentiments. I have teamed this set up with Evening Evergreen cardstock and the Gilded Leafing which gives it a stunning effect.

For this card I have used Evening Evergreen cardstock as my base. I cut a piece of basic white to the length of the card and to the width I was happy with. I placed a strip of Tear and Tape adhesive down either side of the Basic White and stuck down the Gilded Leafing and wiped off the excess. I then stamped a few feathers with versamark ink on the Evening Evergreen and sprinkled the heat and set powder over them, set that with the heat tool and stuck down the Gilded Leafing. I then used versamark and Gold embossing powder for my sentiment and then stamped the rest of the feathers in versamark, so you get them as a dark print on the cardstock. Stuck this to the Basic White so just the Gilded Leafing was showing on either side and adhered this to the base.
